Howard’s combination of size and athleticism at the power forward position was too much for fellow teenagers to Handle at the time. He was a senior in 2003-04. He was widely viewed as the best high school Basketball Player in the country, averaging roughly 25 points, 18 rebounds, 8 blocks, and 3 assists to lead the Warriors to a state championship.
